Wedding at the Chattahoochee Nature Center and Memorial Day Celebration

It's been a busy last month for Bow N' Banjo.  This week we had a Wedding Ceremony on Saturday at the Chattahoochee Nature Center.

The Bride picked the following songs:

"Come Thou Fount"-Traditional Hymn

"Take me Home Country Roads" by John Denver

"Love Song for Ladybug" by David Stephens.  This one was new to us but a catchy little banjo tune in C major.

Above you will see our "Bow and "banjo" gift cards we received.  How thoughtful!

Today we did a couple of songs to remember soldiers alive and fallen for a Memorial Day Celebration at Grace Life Church in Marietta, GA.  What a nice bunch of people these folks were, so glad to be a part of this well put together program.

Setlist was

"Time to Say Goodbye" as covered by Andrea Bocelli and "Ashokan Farewell" by Jay Ungar.

Bow N' Banjo Plays Wedding in Andrews, North Carolina

We had a great time in Andrews, North Carolina this past weekend playing for the wedding of Lane and Spencer.

The bride chose some songs that were new for us.

Kissing You by Desiree

Heroes by David Bowie.

These people were some awesome, it was such a pleasure to be a part of their special day.  What a nice view.  Apparently they are about to open up this wonderful home to the public as a new wedding venue.

Here I am holding Erica's cello.  You can't play two instruments at once!!!
